On the road again: Austin, day 5
Today went to travel and work during travel. Lunch was at the Austin airport, which amazingly includes a Salt Lick Barbecue and an Amy's Ice Creams; I ate food from both.
I'm home now, and I'm quite tired, so I'm going to leave you with a question that I'm sure has been nagging you as much as it has been bothering me: Is it possible that this
will finally be a good Fantastic Four movie?
I'm doubtful, but you know I'll check it out.

I really enjoyed reading FF comics when I was young. The movies were a terrible disappointment, especially the second, as the Silver Surfer has always been one of my favorite characters. I will probably wait for the new movie to be released on DVD.
I also loved those comics--I have all the FFs from #1 to 1990--and was a big fan of the Surfer's. I will almost certainly go to the theater for this one. I just hope I don't regret it.
wow, how awesome that you have all of those comic books! yes, I'm totally jealous! I loved the story line w/ Crystal, Triton, Medusa, Black Bolt, et.al., which I got to read part of in the '70's, I think, when my brother Scott was getting the FF comic books.
and I always loved the Silver Surfer, because the poor guy was caught up in such a tragic existence, and he actually has a kindly soul and hates what he has to do.
Those comics contain a lot of wonderful stuff.
Yeah, the Surfer was a great character whom I always liked.
