On the road again: Spain, day 4

After another intense and lengthy sleep, we headed uptown to see Gaudi's famous La Sagrada Familia. The majestic cathedral was more amazing than all the pictures and descriptions I've seen of it. We're going to spend more time at it tomorrow.

We walked the city a great deal, ate a very odd late lunch of pasta with ham, cheese, and hot dog--yes, hot dog--and generally had a very good day.

At my insistence, we walked down to the water and put our hands in the Mediterranean. I know it's silly, but I felt we had to do it. I'm glad we did.

Tomorrow, more of La Sagrada Familia and, I hope, some significant time at Gaudi's Park Guell.

AND DUKE WON

Indeed Duke did. I followed it on ESPN's play-by-play online coverage. It sure seemed to be a great game. Go, Duke!

Tobacco road rivalries viewed from Espana.

Indeed. I cannot help but root for Duke, both because of Sarah going there, and because I like the program and the school. Now, if Scott goes to a local university, then when their teams play, I will have to remain neutral.

So you'll have to watch from Switzerland, in keeping with your nuetrality.

I can't afford the travel, because the local teams play each other twice. Perhaps I'll just tape a Swiss flag to my recliner.

Or to the motorized hot dog throne of doom!

Don't they have "a House Divided" plate holders for the license plate? Slap that on the bakc of the Motorized Chair Of Hot Dog Doom (MCOHDD, pronounced like Muhgawd)!
