David Bowie

Well, shit.  For most of my life, Bowie has been out there, making music that constantly evolved to reflect the intersection of his own talent and various musical styles.  Now, with quiet class and right after debuting a new album, he's gone.  Damn.

We won't see his like again anytime soon.

I remember buying and listening to Scary Monsters. His only album (vinyl) that I own.

Can't say I bought his earlier or later material. To me he way very eighties but that probably says more about my age.

I did buy his Baal EP if you remember those!
Nobody under 25 would probably know what I'm talking about.

From Ziggy Stardust to his refined persona of toda, he was a rarity. His videos and song were always different. Labyrinth's Goblin King could not have been played by anyone else more perfect. I hope the younger generation appreciates his contribution to music. He brought sparkle and theatrics and fun. RIP, Mr. Bowie. Your passing took a piece of my musical past.
