Where do you draw the line
between taking care of yourself when you're exhausted and simply procrastinating?
I've been pondering that question for much of today.
Currently, I'm doing a great job procrastinating taking care of myself, but with a bit of willpower--and perhaps some luck--I'll change that soon.

Taking care of yourself involves many facets of daily life as you well know. I suspect, from reading your blog, that exercise is an area that is woefully neglected? It would be lovely if we all lived in a city such as Florence and walked several miles a day routinely. But that's not the case in most of the US. I suggested sandbag training (and water fillers for the road) to you several weeks ago. You can accomplish a really good workout in about 20-25 minutes three times a week and enjoy the heck out of it. I have rarely run across a product that I could endorse like this one. I don't rep it, but am a testament to how good this training method is. At middle age we need to train for functional strength and flexibility, not how many plates we can load on a leg press.
