A cake too far?
It's beginning to look like the second CaBobcake was a cake too far for our team of eaters. With the BobCake itself, two CaBobcakes, and the SmiBobcake, we may have exceeded what we can consume. After tonight, we still had these two chunks of cake.

Of course, the worst case result is that some cake goes home with us, but, still, that would be an eating failure on our collective part.
In other news of the beach, at a local thrift shop we discovered this store within a store, the Man Cave.
We're not even going to talk about the weapon Kyle is brandishing.
Ah, the weirdness that is the beach.

I'm just curious. How many were on your team of cake consumers? Btw, I have a recipe for a cake similar to the smibobcake but it has a layer of freshly made caramel poured on top that has to be scored to mark the slices before the caramel hardens. The rest of the many-layered cake is iced w/ chocolate frosting.
The number of people varies throughout the trip, with a high of 19 and a low of 9.
The cake you describe sounds pretty good.
There were so many cakes I'm glad there were lots of folks to help consume them. Now that I know 19 folks were there at some times, I'm slightly less worried about what folks' blood glucose levels might have reached!!!! Thanks for the assistance when I was having issues posting comments. And thanks for the kind, hopeful words about my computer It's still hanging in there! :)
