Yeah, he's watching

Who?

Why Cone Man, of course, day and (here) night.

What is he watching?

Anyone who dares to venture down my driveway.

Yeah, that's right: You do not want to cross Cone Man.

  1. I understand he likes to leap out behind trees to unsuspecting people walking to the cul-de-sac. He is rather evil.

  2. Cone Man does not leap, nor is he evil. Like The Dude, he abides.

  3. Any creatures venture inside him to make a nest?

  4. To the best of my knowledge, not yet.

  5. Kind of reminds me a bit of an ice cream cone crossed w/ one of the Casper Ghostly Trio. Very nice that he is not evil. I'm sure any kids that come by on Halloween appreciate that very much.

  6. Alas, we almost never get any trick-or-treaters.

  7. Same here. Never got many when I had a house, and have never had any at either of my apartments. Times have definitely changed, especially since some folks began trying to put harmful items in the treats. Another way innocence has been lost, I guess (getting way too philosophical)

  8. I agree that those changes brought another loss of innocence. Too bad.

  9. It's not all lost, we get hundreds of trick or treaters in my neighborhood. There is still magic in the air. Of course, we don't have a scary cone man lurking in the darkness, either.

  10. Goodness, that is a creepy image! I wonder what it would look like with flickering lights in the eye holes, or is the creepiness enhanced with just black void?

  11. I'm glad you do. I think the reason we don't is the nature of our neighborhood. Cone Man is just an added treat.

  12. Deb, I've wondered that myself. The eyes are painted black, but we could always change that by drilling holes and inserting lights. Perhaps fun times ahead!
